Column of Russian military equipment that had fought in Chechnya and Dagestan entered Ukraine

Head of organization People’s initiative ‘The right deal’ Dmytro Snegirev informs this.

On November 10 a column of military equipment entered Ukraine from Russian territory. This was a column of 56-th separate assault paratrooper brigade. The permanent location of this brigade is the town of Kamyshyn in Volgograd oblast [Russia].

According to Dmytro Snegyrev, he got this information from local residents, members of his organization.

Snegirev told that in August 1999 this brigade had participated in hostilities in Dagestan Republic and Chechen Republic. The battalion-tactical group fought in Northern Caucasus.

In December 1999 the sub-units of the 56-th brigade (in 2009 – 56-th Guards paratrooper assault regiment) covered the Chechen section of Russian-Georgian border.

Previously the 56-th brigade was under control of military district and in October 2013 it was included into Air Forces of Armed Forces of Russian Federation.
