This was reported by NSDC Information Centre Spokesman Andriy Lysenko during press briefing in Kyiv.

Terrorists in cooperation with the Armed Forces of Russian Federation continue shelling of positions of the ATO forces and border sub-units.

Yesterday 3 representatives of OSCE mission who were studying the situation at Ukrainian-Russian border were working in a border checkpoint ‘Milove’ in Luhansk oblast. At night after international experts returned to Russian territory the checkpoint and the settlement located nearby were shelled with grenade launchers and mortars twice.

Border guards and Armed forces have to deal not with home guards but with well trained saboteurs. This is evidenced by the fact that 2 cars of State Border system were blown up on mines settled at distance of several hundred meters from the checkpoint ‘Uspenka’ in Donetsk oblast.

The facts of supply of heavy weapons to terrorists from Russia don’t stop. Thus yesterday there was registered the installation of 15 ‘Grad’ systems in Luhansk oblast.

During the last 24 hours border guards registered 5 Russian drones violating Ukrainian airspace.

5 Ukrainian officers who have received far-fetched accusations are still kept at Russian territory. At the insistence of Ukrainian side the Consul General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don was admitted to detainees. The situation is under his personal control. Ukraine is doing everything possible to protect its citizens.
