Festival of Ukrainian resistance Bandershtat in Lutsk

Ukrainian festival of resistance ‘Bandershtat’  will be held in Lutsk from July 31 to August 2. The event will be organized on the initiative of the youth organization ‘National Alliance’. Besides the entertainment and music program, the festival will be focused on the patriotic education and intellectual development of young people.

‘In addition to the musical and literary scene there will be provided intelligent location – ‘gutirky’. Well-known Ukrainians from military, political, economic and cultural spheres are invited to participate at these locations. Among them are Mustafa Nayem, Vladimir Parasyuk, Levko Lukyanenko, Oles Sanin, Vasil Shkliar and others’. This information was announced by the organizers of the event at a press-briefing in the Ukraine Crisis Media-Center. The famous Ukrainian musician Sergey Martynyuk will be the art director of the festival.


The director of the festival Marina Khromyh added that this event would be operated around the clock. The festival also provides various activities – free tours around the Lutsk, the festival of street food ‘banderfood’, Night Cinema, sports competitions with prizes.

Also there will be a children’s playground on the territory of ‘Bandershtat’. In such playground Ukrainian masters will hold various workshops for kids. The musical program will be presented by artists from Western and Eastern Ukraine. They will play a variety of the musical styles: from punk-rock to electro.


Soldiers of the civilian corps of the ‘Azov’ regiment will conduct a master-classes for combat training.

Another feature of the festival is that alcoholic beverages will not be sold on the territory.


The festival ‘Bandershtat’ will be held on the territory of the central park of Lutsk. Tourists and residents will be able to purchase tickets online, at the box offices and at the festival.

Ticket prices:

  • for 3 days (before the festival) – 250 UAH;
  • for 3 days (on the day of the festival) – 300 UAH;
  • for 1 day – 150 UAH.
