Concentrations of heavy artillery and distributing points in Donetsk

Fighters concentrate heavy artillery and mortars near the towns of Shchastya and Stanytsya Luhanska [blue circles on the map above].

The tanks that had been brought there earlier (about 12 units, minimum two of which are unfit for combat) were withdrawn deep into positions of fighters for technical service. Meanwhile the unified artillery controlling center is being created in the area of village of Metalist.

According to experts from Information resistance group, fighters created at least three fire positions of their artillery near the town of Stakhanov [red circle on the map].

Meanwhile 3 ‘distributing points of stock’ were created in Donetsk as elements of unified supply system.

Supply of local armed sub-units and Russian mercenaries with ammunition, spare parts of armored vehicles and fuel is done through these distributing points.

In the towns of Makiivka, Alchevsk and Krasny Luch there were organized accelerated courses for training of specialists chosen among local fighters.

Russian servicemen act as instructors. They train artillery spotters and scouts.

Information Resistance group also informs about organization of maintenance crews in Donbas. Repair and maintenance of weapons and military equipment directly at destination points were organized after request and insistence of Russian specialists.

Dmitriy Tymchuk underlines that supply of spare parts and consumables is disguised as ‘humanitarian convoys’ from Russia.
