A column of trucks with humanitarian aid for Donbas have left from the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk

Several dozens of trucks with humanitarian aid for residents of the ATO zone have left from Kyiv and 2 other Ukrainian cities.

This was informed by Minister of Infrastructure Maksym Burbak. He reported that the load is to be delivered to the town of Starobilsk [Luhansk oblast] due to the order of Prime Minister Yatseniuk.

‘We have conducted a meeting with drivers and calmed them that their safety would be guaranteed’, – the Minister said. Burbak added that the load had been partially financed by the state budget and partially by funds of benefactors.

‘Yesterday the government adopted a decision about additional allocation of 10 000 000 hrn. Here [in trucks] there is beneficial help and good that have been bought for state funds. This is another load for our compatriots’, – Burbak said.

The destination of the column if the town of Starobilsk [Luhansk oblast] where due to international norms it will be taken by representatives of International Committee of the Red Cross. The Red Cross will divide this aid for civilians of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts that live on territories controlled by terrorists.
