2500 servicemen and cadets participated in military parade on Independence Day of Ukraine

Military parade on Independence day of Ukraine took place in Kyiv on Khreshchatyk street. The parade was commanded by Lieutenant-General Anatoly Pushnyakov – Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces.

Latest examples of military equipment made in Ukraine drove along Khreshchatyk. All this equipment will be directed to the ATO zone.

More than 2500 servicemen and cadets participated in the parade. Part of them will go to the ATO zone after celebration.

In his speech President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko stated that events of recent months would be included in the history books as the Patriotic War of 2014.

The Head of State noted that in 2015-2017 more than 40 billion hryvnyas would be allocated for rearmament and modernization of Ukrainian army.
