Anti-terrorist operation spokesperson Andriy Lysenko informed this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.
In course of the last 24 hours terrorist fighters continued shelling and attacking positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces. The fact of arrival of weapons, ammunition, fuel and next humanitarian convoy from Russian Federation indicate on possibility of further escalation of the armed conflict.
Terrorists repeatedly shelled positions of ATO forces in all directions of zone of hostilities using artillery, mortars, grenade launchers, tanks and multiple rocket launchers ‘Grad’.
As we previously informed, on January 27 the column of Russian trucks with the so-called ‘humanitarian aid’ for Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts started from the vicinities of Moscow.
At the headquarters of anti-terrorist operation they do not exclude that terrorist fighters might shell the 12-th Russian ‘humanitarian convoy’ to make up pretext for large-scale invasion into Ukrainian territory.
