More than 100 cases of ceasefire violations per 24 hours

On Sunday June 14 and night of Monday June 15 ceasefire regime in Donbas was violated more than 100 times.

During the day Ukrainian Forces registered 65 cases of shelling carried out by Russia-backed forces.

Most attacks were registered in Donetsk sector. Fighters used mortars of 120 mm caliber and artillery systems of 122 mm caliber to shell Ukrainian positions near Opytne, Pisky, Maryinka, Novolaspa, Starognativka. Ukrainian positions near Novomykhailivka were shelled using multiple rocket launcher systems ‘Grad’ and tanks.

Enemy also used ‘Grads’ to shell Troitske near Artemivsk.

Situation in Luhansk sector was also complicated. Enemy used mortars of different calibers, tanks, grenade launchers and anti-aircraft systems to shell positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces near Trioksizbnka, Krymske, Sokolnyky, Novotoshkivske.

Russia-backed armed groups were less active in Mariupol sector during the day.

They used small arms and automatic grenade launchers three times during the day. At night Ukrainian positions in Shyrokine were shelled using howitzers of 122 mm caliber and MRLS ‘Grad’.

In addition, fighters used tanks to fire at homes of civilians in Opytne settlement.

During the night situation in Donbas didn’t improve. Fighters kept using heavy weapons that are banned by Minsk agreements.

From 06.00 pm till morning ceasefire regime was violated 40 times. Fighters shelled Ukrainian positions near Opytne, Pisky, Maryinka, Novotoshkivske and others.
